The rolling cart is a stable trolley, the stability is provided by five legs with castors. The BioCon-500™ fits snugly and firm into a frame, which is angled to provide the view of the screen and measurement. The area under the instrument provides room for the adapter.

Calibratie and Volume Test Phantom [BC5C-0008]
(for the BioCon-500™ Cubescan bladder scanner).
The phantom contains an echo free object simulation (more or less) a bladder:
- The phantom background mass is 15 cm wide, 15 cm high and 15 cm deep.
- Inside is a simulated bladder of known volume (+/- 1 ml)
- The Ultrasound images show a bladder of 131 ml.
- The surface of the phantom is covered with a protective plate of 1 mm PU, which allows transmission of Ultrasound.
- Attenuation of background material is about 0.5 dB / cm * MHz at 3 - 4 MHz.
- Sound speed of background material is about 1540 m/sec.
