Training
We developed the de Smit Medical Learning Academy to provide further training and support for healthcare professionals. The Academy is comprised of three elements;
- Clinical Training Courses; taught by Consultant Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, Julia Herbert at our training facility in Bristol. The six courses provide clinical competency in the field of pelvic floor health and continence.
- The de Smit Medical Clinical Training Package; a platform for delivering online RCN and CPD accredited training modules, that are SCORM compliant. Written by Julia Herbert, the Theory of Bladder Scanning provides training that can be applied to all makes of bladder scanner.
- Technical training; our qualified service technicians will show your team how to service, calibrate and repair your devices in-house – saving on the overall downtime of your equipment.
