de Smit Medical is proud to be partnering with Eastwood Park Training to provide medical equipment for their training centre.
Based only five miles from the de Smit Medical offices in South Gloucestershire, Eastwood Park boasts a brand new state of the art training centre that was officially opened by HRH The Princess Royal. As the leading provider of technical healthcare engineering training in the UK, we are thrilled to see our range of biomedical test equipment and bladder scanners being used on several of the courses at Eastwood Park.
The courses at Eastwood Park cover a variety of topics and are mainly designed for engineers looking to expand their knowledge in safety, servicing and performance verification of medical equipment.
Specifically, you will find the vPad-Rugged electrical safety tester, the vPad-RF diathermy analyser, vPad-IV infusion pump analyser, vPad-A1 patient simulator, and the BioCon-1100 bladder scanner on the ‘Biomedical equipment maintenance practice’ and ‘Safety testing of electrical medical equipment (IEC 60601-1 + 62353)’ courses.
This partnership signifies our shared value to provide solutions that enable our customers to work efficiently and improve standards. It complements the de Smit Medical Learning Academy, which brings together our clinical, technical and user training courses. Our technical training courses are delivered locally at the customer’s premises.
