This day course is aimed at clinicians and ultrasonographers experienced in transvaginal gynaecological scanning who wish to learn the ultrasound techniques of tubal latency testing, uterine cavity assessment and 3D gynaecological scanning.

A morning of presentations covering the relevance and application of HyCoSy, 3D ultrasound scanning and a video on HyCoSy. The afternoon comprises of two observational practical HyCoSy sessions. All delegates will be offered the opportunity to attend a half-day, one-to-one practical HyCoSy session at Kings College Hospital at a later date.

10:30 – Hysterosalpingo Contrast Sonography (Hycosy): Its relevance as an investigation in assessing the endometrial cavity and tubal patency. Haitham Hamoda
11:00 – Application of Hycosy findings to gynaecological surgery. Nitish Narvekar
11:30 – The role of 3D ultrasound scanning in assessing uterine pathology and anomalies. Jackie Ross
12:00 – The practical implications of setting up a Hycosy service.
