Earlier in January, we held a three-day bespoke course for University Hospitals of Morecambe Bay NHS Foundation Trust at Ulverston Community Health Centre. This was a unique combination of the assessment of the female pelvic floor muscle dysfunction course, and the assessment of the lower bowel dysfunction course. This course included the theoretical aspects as well as a practical assessment. Rather than attending a clinical training course at our training facility in South Gloucestershire, we can deliver the training at your chosen venue. This can be beneficial to those who have multiple staff members wishing to attend the same training, where it is more convenient for our course tutor to come to you.
Our courses are led by course tutor and Consultant Pelvic Health Physiotherapist, Julia Herbert, who specialises in the therapeutic management of lower bowel dysfunction and has lectured extensively in both the UK and internationally.
We had great feedback about this bespoke course; a bladder and bowel Specialist Nurse commented, ‘Julia has been an amazing teacher, she has great delivery, and I feel so informed,’ and a Clinical Specialist Nurse wrote, ‘I learnt so much and so grateful for the opportunity. Thoroughly enjoyed every minute. The practical sessions were very invaluable.’
