As part of our suite of clinical training courses, we have two biofeedback courses; the first is an introduction to biofeedback and NMES in pelvic floor muscle dysfunction and the second (always the day after the first) is an advanced look at the same topic.
This allows delegates to choose the level of training they need. Some may feel an introductory course is most suitable, for example, if they are just starting out in a new role in the field. Whereas some may opt to come only for the advanced training to take their expertise to the next level.
On 11th and 12th September however, most of our delegates chose to book onto both days and we were thrilled to welcome them to our Training Suite in South Gloucestershire!
From the overwhelmingly positive feedback, we can see that everyone found the two days to be beneficial to their practice. More specifically, that the course featured ‘a really good practical application of using biofeedback and NMES with patients,’ as one delegate commented on the feedback form. They continued to write, ‘I feel like I will be able to treat patients on a more individual basis,’ which is one of the learning outcomes of the courses.
Thanks to our Training Administrators, Rachael and Helen for coordinating, and to our fantastic course tutor, Julia Herbert, for teaching another great set of courses!
Onto the next one… which will be the Assessment of lower bowel dysfunction – anorectal examination and initial treatment (practical course) on 2 & 3rd October.
