‘I was sent by the Continence Lead who highly recommended the female pelvic floor course and she was right!’ – Continence Specialist Nurse.
Last week, de Smit Medical welcomed two groups of delegates to its training facility in Bristol for the female pelvic floor and lower bowel training courses.
Written and given by Specialist Continence Physio Julia Herbert, the respective courses involved a practical assessment of female pelvic floor dysfunction and anorectal assessment of pelvic floor dysfunction.
Thank you to all the delegates who attended one (or both!) of the courses, it’s great to hear that you learned so much – especially as it marked the eleventh World Continence Week.
Here’s what they thought:
‘Fantastic course, it will change my practice.’ – Continence Specialist Nurse (lower bowel course).
‘I will recommend to all HCPs in the field who want to advance their vaginal examination skills.’ – Continence Nurse Specialist (female pelvic floor course).
‘Delivered well. I learnt an enormous amount in such a short time. Excellent!’ – Continence Nurse Specialist (lower bowel course).
de Smit Medical has course dates confirmed up to July next year.
