Ten delegates arrived on Tuesday afternoon for the fully booked ‘Practical assessment of female pelvic floor dysfunction’ training course. The one-and-a-half day course is taught by Consultant Pelvic Health Physio, Julia Herbert, who has over thirty years’ experience in the field. The course covers a wide range of topics, including anatomy & physiology of the pelvic floor complex and bladder and also involves a voluntary practical session where the assessment is demonstrated and practised.
‘Excellent study days – really helpful in guidance for practice. I’ve gained more confidence – thank you!’ – Team Leader, Continence Team.
We ask our delegates to leave an evaluation form after they have completed the training course and it is always great to hear that it has been beneficial to their practice.
‘Very good course; the theory and practical ratio excellent. The tutor was very knowledgeable and explained the subject in full. Really enjoyed it, thank you.’ – Continence Nurse.
‘Fantastic course, I have learnt so much. Looking forward to practising.’ – Advanced Level Physiotherapist.
