Thank you to our delegates who attended the biofeedback training course last week, it was a lovely two days with you all.
The ‘Use of biofeedback & NMES in the treatment of bladder, bowel & pelvic floor muscle dysfunction’ training course is written and taught by Julia Herbert, Consultant Pelvic Health Physiotherapist. It covers the basic principles and clinical applications of biofeedback and neuromuscular electrical stimulation, and also involves the practical use of devices in treating pelvic floor muscle dysfunction. Our two day course is designed to give clinicians the tools to tailor treatment programmes for each patient.
One of our delegates, a Perinatal Pelvic Health Midwife, commented, ‘This is the third course I have attended with Julia at de Smit, which I think says it all. A great venue with lovely, friendly staff where you feel so looked after. Julia is so knowledgeable and her relaxed style of teaching makes learning enjoyable. I had no experience in biofeedback or stimulation, but after completing this course I feel I can use the equipment our trust has bought and start benefiting patients straight away, thank you.’
