We’ve just finished up our latest 1.5-day course on the Assessment of Female Pelvic Floor Muscle Dysfunction at our South Gloucestershire training facility, and it was a real success. It was great to welcome a group of dedicated nurses and physiotherapists, all keen to improve their skills in this vital area of women’s health.
Over the one and half days, we got really in depth in the details of pelvic floor muscle function, covering everything from subjective and abdominal assessments to the more detailed objective vaginal assessments. The practical, hands-on experience was a key part of the course, and it was brilliant to see everyone getting to grips with the techniques. Our course tutor was on hand to guide everyone, making sure they felt confident and supported as they practised these essential skills.
One attendee said, “I really enjoyed this two day course, it was very interactive which was great. I also really enjoyed the practical side, and the printed handout was very informative. Thank you.” Many other people also mentioned how informative and practical the course was, and how much they appreciated the tutors’ expertise.
It’s always really rewarding to be able to provide this kind of training, and to help practitioners improve the care they provide to women. We’re already planning our next course, so if you’re interested in developing your skills in this area, keep an eye on our website for the upcoming dates.
